Given Paul Prager’s proclivity for restoring historic buildings in Easton, Maryland, it comes as no surprise that he is behind the ambitious revival of the Ebenezer Theater at 17 South Washington Street, within the Prager Family Center for the Arts. The striking interior is meticulously restored with a state-of-the-art sound system and a glorious design scheme worthy of its Victorian roots.
The Ebenezer is not only the epicenter for hosting renowned musical artists from around the globe, but is also responsible for bringing back revered evenings of elegant dinner theater. Balancing historic architecture and design, while also embracing the current day, an array of classic Oscar-winning movies are displayed throughout the year on the big screen. Elevating the cinematic experience, guests can relax upstairs in balcony seating or at an intimate table in the main auditorium. A menu of rotating appetizers and refreshments are available before the film airs.
