Inside the iconic New Orleans restaurant Brennan's lies the amusing, aviary-inspired bar, The Roost. "Ruled" by lead bartender Lu Brow, guests at The Roost can imbibe on selections from a cocktail list incorporating flavors of places like the Caribbean, Africa, and Vietnam, in a tribute to the immigrants who have contributed their culture to New Orleans. The Roost overlooks the lush courtyard inside Brennan's, bringing elements of the outdoors into its airy, open room. Its noteworthy interior features original flagstone floors, a reverse-gilded mirror, which artist Alice Ludlow has filled with a cast of flamingos, ostriches, and other exotic birds in an extravagant gilded birdcage, and a 15'-long banquette covered in pomegranate ostrich leather.

The Roost offers "Bubbles at Brennan's" - where guests can sip on delicious select bubbles from both top Champagne vintners and premiere sparkling wine houses. Brow's cocktail menu boasts elevated traditional offerings as well as concoctions with progressive twists - from the Caribbean Milk Punch and Sazerac to the Banana Daiquiri and Honeysuckle Collins.

Brow believes that the hospitable attitude guests receive at her bar is every bit as important as what goes into each glass. The Roost Bar at Brennan's is a quintessential, elegant southern bar that welcomes all to partake in the merriment of New Orleans.
