Last Call Bar
Gina Chersevani, the master of mixology and grandest of grande dames, unveils her most inventive watering hole yet – Last Call Bar. Set in a converted brick building hidden from the main road and behind warehouses and storefronts of various suppliers in the Union Market neighborhood, the unlikely venue is rumored to have been one of the initial speakeasies in Washington, DC. During Prohibition, the green painted door that remains at the entrance was a telltale sign that it was safe to indulge in whatever was pouring here. True to its name, Last Call Bar is a tribute to the trailblazers of the night, who don’t take no for an answer and wish to imbibe just a little longer.
