Gillian “Gigi” Hanley is a recent graduate of Auburn University, where she earned her degree in public relations with a minor in marketing. Throughout her studies, she had a strong focus on media relations, allowing her to understand the importance of effective communication and how it can greatly improve business goals.

Gillian gained valuable experience in public relations and marketing through her internships at Measured Marketing, a marketing agency in Auburn, Alabama, during her junior and senior years, and at Nahigian Strategies, a public relations firm in Washington, D.C. These internships introduced her to the foundational elements of media relations. During her time as an intern, she assisted clients with their brand development, advocated for them to reporters, tracked social media analytics, and worked to increase the engagement of their target audiences.

Gillian is very passionate about helping others. As a Media Relations Associate, her goal is to provide guidance to clients and her team to help them accomplish their goals. She loves to be involved in ongoing projects that set the client up for further success. Her past experiences in public relations have motivated her to further pursue a career in media relations. She is excited to use her skills to contribute to the simoneink clients’ successes and explore more of what the field of media relations has to offer!
